same thing every sunday night/ monday morning. load in philadelphia at 10pm. then it’s 1 1/2 hrs to allentown. there i’ll wait about 2 hours while i’m unloaded and then reloaded for baltimore. i have a choice of three different ways i can go each of which takes between 2 1/2 to 3 hours. last couple of weeks i’ve been using the toll road due to the snow and ice we’ve been getting. they never start work on my trailer until 6 am in baltimore but i’m always out of there by 6:20. then i’ll be heading back towards philadelphia empty. somewhere along the way i’ll make my weekly fuel stop.

Unload sat /sun.Then sit in a hotel till Friday morning. Then reload, then tip on monday 17th back in London. German boarder should be fun thursday trying to buy the road tax.I wounder how long that is going to take■■?

Dull local work this week. 8 drops around the Doncaster / Rotherham / Barnsley areas each day but at least I’ll be at home in bed each day.

My plans are still on so far… my missus is Thai and we’re due to be going over to Thailand in March. Going to see her family and have a bit of a tour round. Her family live nowhere near the affected areas anyway (Udon Thani - in the north-east of the country) so everything is okey-dokey, however, my thoughts are with those who have been (or know anyone) affected by the recent terrible earthquake/floods.

If you want to eat really well go past the CR to the roundabout, turn right and before the overhead bridge on the right there are half a dozen restos. The best of them is ‘L’Albatross’ , I think, 2nd last anyway. Parking both sides if you can find a spot, very popular. Don’t worry, under the bridge 200m is another rond point for you to return.
