Then please listen to what the Doc tells you. I tried too much too soon when I ruptured mine a few years ago, thinking I could shave some time off my recovery. Now over 7 years later, I still get grief with it on cold days, and can’t wear footwear that rubs on the scar tissue. Once my missus told the Doc I was trying to gently walk on it, because I was clever and knew best, I was warned one more step reported, and it was going in a cast from my thigh down.

Suddenly 8 weeks in an ankle brace, alternating between crutches and a poofy cushion didn’t seem too bad an idea…

EMR Plymouth to Celsa. Cant wait. Lol

Not going to do anything silly on it or try been there done that before

After the 8 weeks of plaster & this it will be physio

The Physio is a good help. The first foot massage when they manipulate the bones in your foot is just sooooo good, when it’s never been used for weeks. The twisting of your ankle to free the scar tissue however isn’t! The guy was quite relieved when I didn’t go to hit him… It hurt like hell for a few moments when he was pulling and twisting, but it was great being able to move my foot again.

Sorry for the thread hijack, Martin.

Brittany Ferries Poole/Cherbourg 22.30

I’m off to Skeggy tomorrow - in the car - as I have a few days off this week.
Taking the ex - wife for company. :open_mouth:
Might treat her to a bag of chips if she behaves herself

Short one tomorrow so not going to start till 8
Warrington to Sheffield then Nottingham and back to Warrington, that’s until the phone rings and I get more stuff.

Still hacked off about not being able to drink, …England on the box tonight.
