Just had a week off so no idea where I’m going.
Couldn’t be arsed phoning in on Friday to find out.
So big surprise when I rock in at 5. Or 6… :laughing:

0600 start in Radlett. Load St Albans 0630. Drop in St Albans, Watford, Watford, Bushey, be in Amersham for a timed 1030 tip. Maybe :laughing:

Reload st Albans for the afternoon run out.

I’m collecting from Northfield, MK @ 06.00 & delivering to Tosco Teesport @ 14.00, then collecting Totes (plastic trays) from Tosco back to Northfield, Mk. Probably be a night out, because said Tosco Chimps won’t be in too much of a hurry to turn me around. [emoji99]

That’s the plan anyway, bet something goes wrong or changes between now & 06.00 in the morning. [emoji57]

Well, that went well, got in at 05.20 & was told that I had to take a couple of trailers back to a customer just around the corner “no problem” I said “I’ll just be late for my collection” so after a bit of Umming & Arrrring they decided someone else could do the trailers, making me late anyway, doesn’t matter anyway, because my 06.00 load wasn’t ready & they are just loading it now (started at 07.15) [emoji1]

Good start to the day. Trunk loads have been held up on the M1 at junction 12 so I’m still waiting to load. Hope everyone involved was ok though!

Easy day; 6am start, drop and swap trailers at Tosco Deventry, back empty, change trailers and tip Corby, back empty, change trailers and tip Asda Kempston @ 1700. Park nearby for a 0630 load Tuesday from Bedford.

Day got progressively easier! Turned up at Tesco Dav at bang on 8 only to be informed by the cyber man over the tannoy that it was in fact an 0400 booking, so was told to park and they’d get to me when they could. 5 hours later I’d tipped my 8 pallets! Too late for Corby so just picked up Kempston instead. Currently sat there on a green light wondering just how much more time I can kill before parking up.

Didn’t go anywhere. Took my car for the MOT. It failed.

Total ■■■■ up :unamused: go to load can’t find 1 consignment turned out they hadn’t pick it up so had to go and pick it up that put me 11/2 hours down so by time I loaded in reading I couldn’t drop it off so still got it on board deloading at depot now tomorrow morning

Guildford to Southampton, Wimborne (actually Sturminster Marshall, which I didn’t realise until I got there - not actually Wimborne) then Bournemouth, then back to Guildford. Easy day apart from the rotten semi-auto gearbox that kept falling out of gear at slow speeds.

Mosswood. Decided to take the scenic route and go m62/M1/A1 (m)

What started out as a b**ch of a morning turned into a pleasant Monday cruise.

I’m taking the lessons at Scania in Milton Keynes, test is next Tuesday at Leighton Buzzard.
