León

No, not there either…

Nowhere near Victors Harry, or St Celoni to Granollers Wheel Nut, just washed out if thats a clue.
Yes its a Bertschi Belgium truck PLU128, a 403 that never missed a beat, never broke down but was as dead as a door nail on the hills.

…but comfy?

Tarragona. Is it

bordaeux

No it’s neither Bordeaux or Tarragona.

is it a transport companys wash or a cleaning station and are they still open

It’s a tank cleaning station, but you can see the cliffs from the motorway and the national aswell.

as you can see -its doin’ my 'ead in !

I had tipped Bilbao going to reload Tarragona.

Not far then?
PS. I hate Bascoes & they hate me. From the cops to the morons in overalls. Thought I would share that with you all?

Does that mean you give in then Harry?

It’s not in the Basque region.

I surrender!

Zaragoza?

Yes its Zaragoza, well Alfajarin to be spot on. Last exit for the national before you have to start paying when you are heading towards Barcelona. The tank wash and industrial estate are on that exit and the cliffs in the picture are on the left side.

The last time I did Madrid to Barna the peage started just outside of Barna & you drove thru the Main Street of Lerida. Also I remember the earth & rocks around Zaragoza to be red? So I don’t think I have ever seen that truck wash?

Harry, Lerida is quite a few kms east of this place, this is near Zaragza, I think the reason you remembered the cliffs to be red is probably due to all the vino tinto and carajillo.

It has been a lot of years since I was driving to Spain, this picture was probably 14 or 15 years ago, so you got me thinking I was in the wrong place so I had a look on google earth and its just the same.

Maybe Harry went past when the sun was on the cliffs ! :sunglasses:

I vaguely remember a truck wash near there. A Spanish guy worked there that used to be in the Foreign Legion ,spoke good French. But it wasn’t as big as the place in your snaps?
I delivered once to the Zaragoza Expo many years ago & the place was bogged down in red mud.

Please post my prize to me,lol, that place has many cafes and restaurants for the drivers menu or menu de dia.
Tyre dealers and repairs, i was going to say Lerida.
