Where are you RIGHT NOW!?

i’m reading this on Thursday

just recorded my radio show for friday (repeated Monday 16-17 hr) as i’m working 1030-2230
and it goes out at 2000

@nker radio 1386 am serving the patients staff and visoters to the George Eliot hospital

sitting at some traffic lights…:open_mouth:

…no i’m at home sitting on the sofa watching the simpsons while typing this and looking on google maps doing some recon on what the access roads are like and planning my journey around sheffield city centre for tommorrow, as don’t think my truck can drive on tram lines  :exclamation: :open_mouth: :stuck_out_tongue:

Stuck at home, wish I was down the road somewhere, pref, sth wales or scotland. Just been made redundant :frowning:

At home a day early!!

Got told that the scrap game has come to a halt!!

As from Monday i’m on boxes for Wincanton! Its work i spose, think my self lucky.

It’s Thursday now, but i’m out again tomorrow to Holyhead.

I’m at home taking my free trip on the NHS :unamused:

I’ve just made my sandwiches and done me flask for my extremely easy shift that starts at 10 tonight as the second man down to Southhampton with a wide load

At home chilling.
Pecjam, what are driving? And where abouts in Sheffield are you going? As i’m based in Sheffield.

Whoa Mike C hope you weren’t takin fotos, or maybe rolling a ciggie at the same time :open_mouth: :open_mouth:   and all the other things that drivers might have to do at some time during their working day.

Lets hope we can keep the ‘holier than brigade’ at bay because it does seem they are trying, not only out on the road, but here on a forum for HGV drivers, to make life even harder than it always has been. But I got this sneaky feeling that some of these so called protectors of the highway, given that some have openly declared there previous links to our God Given proffession, have shown how they are unable to take a step backwards and provide objective or even constructive critiscm about any subject especially something they know little or anything about over and above there multi-coloured 4x4s.

I always got and gave respect to people who I learnt from and knew who could do the job but it seems at the moment there are people out there who couldn’t earn any kind of respect in a month of Sundays because they are all trained up to very strict driving standards and have a bit of ‘unknown’ power and if they can’t exert it on the road they’ll exert on a lorry driver’s forum.
As for smokin’ in the cab given a chance it wouldn’t be a problem for me just thinkin of some of the complete ■■■■ heaps I’ve had to drive when the previous drivers were said to be non-smokers  :unamused:
A bit more like non - washers and serial knock one outers!!! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Somewhere dark, wet, and warm.

At home on the sofa with my feet up
