I’m starting at 5am, Milton Keynes-Palletline Hub nr Birmingham Airport, then back to MK. Hopefully gonna get there before the Rush Hour Fun starts. I can’t see it being as easy as friday on the roads.Is George one of your night trunkers??
Yep, Good old George, always fills her up with gogo juice ready for me in the morning, more than can be said for the other Trunkers (apparantly they hav’nt got time to diesel up !!!)
Really Pee’s me off that does, aspecially as I nearly always fill up when I get back in the yard.
Nice easy day load at Heathrow , unload in Langley . 20 mile round trip ill do this 3 times job done , 06.05 to 14.05 today…

tilbury for 8 ish as long as the roads are ok , then who knows for the rest of the weekcould be worse, i got to attempt that Leek collection that was cancelled on friday
i will be loading nr leek @11.30 tonite, tarmac for the m1 south j25-24, was up that way last night and the roads were ok, it’s just started to snow again and has been windy all afternoon so it is drifting now, out of interest where are you loading?

mooseedit, load called off due to snow @ 10.00pm so went to the pub instead!
still snowing hard here half way between ashbourne and buxton (A515) and also still blowing so i would say the roads wont be the best first thing in the morning

to answer your first question, it was John Pointon & Sons, Cheddleton
as for the roads, the M42, M6, A500, A50 were fine, the A520 on the other hand, was a bit pants in places
then, to top matters off, JP have had a new access road built, and closed the old entrance
yep, you guessed it, i went to the old entrance, ended up on a dead end lane and had to reverse back out on to the A520 from a very snow covered side road
