2000 start from Enfield upto Palletways hub at Fradley tip and reload for Enfield! Maybe tip At Enfield and collect a load from Palletways Greenford for Enfield! Easy work!

Dessy do you work for that company with a bit of green on your trucks based opposite a packaging place?? i always get mixed up between two companys, Madex or H&M??
I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for you, see my signature

Madex mate! McFarlanes packaging! I’ve been looking for your lorry but thought you were a day man!
I drive one of 2 Reno Premiums the one with LK on the reg! :grimacing:

Yep thats it. You not trying to get on that new Daf superspace then :sunglasses: ■■ I am a day man but sometimes do a night trunk when its quiet on genral  If im up the road, i sometimes have a night out on the waste ground to left as you go through barrier and load early morning.

I got home on Friday afternoon with a load of furniture from North Carolina, I’m heading off tonight (Sunday) to Saint John, New Brunswick which is about two and a half hours away so I can be parked in the yard of the customer ready for the morning. After that I have no idea, it’ll be a reload for somewhere in the US but could be anywhere at all but I’m hoping for somewhere south away from the snow!

@Farnboroughboy You mean the 07 reg DAF! Nah! It’s a manual and I’m bloody lazy! lol
The DAF and FH are ours, the two premiums are leased! Only three lorrys required this week for Fradley!

Harlow tomorrow. First drop in Epping

How you getting on now Mickey? Enjoying it?

Drax power station with another load of fabricated steel

Carlisle and then up to Aberdeen…

Mid week I’ve been promised something in Swansea going to Lille. But then I’ve got usual clients in Sheffield who are doing local stuff two days in a row.

I’m not sure whether to plump for the bigger pay out or know I’m going to be home for the weekend (as I’ll be tempted to tramp in Lille)

Thoughts?

Drop off a mini digger to a site in Worksop along with barriers, signs and cones for the groundworkers, on to collect 22 gas meter boxes wrongly ordered by the site manager in Mansfield and lastly collect another mini digger from a site in Chesterfield all subject to change at a moments notice.

I am loving it. I don’t know why i didn’t do it years a go. Everyday is a challenge with the store deliveries with the tight reverses etc but i have mastered that and getting better as i go on, but thanks for asking.

CPC so in house training, so the furthest am going is staff canteen. :frowning:

3 or 4 drops out West ■■■■■■■ as far a Sellafield, then back to Carlisle finished for dinnertime! Going to look to go back tramping I think.

If it wasn’t for the wife and daughter, I wouldn’t have ever experienced tramping (it was necessary to raise funds) but then if it wasn’t for them, I would be doing it a lot more!

Family and tramping are now my biggest loves and although family always wins out, the wife finds it funny when I’m tempted to tramp.

Like I said earlier, going across to Lille will mean I’m very tempted to make a week out of it. I used to tramp in Benelux for a few months and found it very worth my while. If I’m in Lille I’m likely to try Antwerp or Liege for a few old clients…coming back to blighty on a return trailer.

I’ve already told the wife so she’s not in for a shock!

Grimsby to Aberdeen!

Working for Warburtons’ out of Bicester, probably on ASDA Rushden first. Induction/assessment for council dustcarts on Tuesday. Money not great there but I wont need to drive to work. Quite missing nights on Fresh Direct, not missing shovel driving though.
