When is driving through 'access only' areas justified?

I find it incredible that a so called professional driver will post on a forum asking for advice as to whether it’s ok to break the law.
Quite obviously it’s not.
Even more worrying is that another driver advised that he should stop at the sign and phone his office to ask if it’s ok to break the law.
I’m embarrassed to admit my occupation in company of others.

What did you expect.

Lorry driver!
What other comment is possible?

the maoster:
Yup, “Black rat” another spoon fed conformist desperate to berate anyone who dares to deviate from the rules.

Another post from someone desperate to be seen as one of the “cool kids”.

I’d just be happy to not be seen as one who has an almost manic obsessive urge to nit pick, argue and disagree with almost anything anyone says or writes. Ever.

Btw, I AM one of the cool kids. That’s why I’m a happier person than you.

Since you’ve never met me how do you know you’re happier than me?
How do you measure happiness anyway?

Tbf Frangs mate, if you’re like what you are in real life as you come across on here,.I can’t see you ever having any probs in the Old Bill dept.

The ‘Cool kids’ (me and Maoster  ) you mention as far as I recall, sit at the BACK of the school bus, dressed in their self customised school uniforms, the alpha coolest one (me of course :sunglasses:  ) feeling up the blonde that every boy in the school fancies. :sunglasses:

The non cool ones (you   ) always does as he’s told, sat at the front in pristine school uniform, obligatory tie, doing his homework that he’s been told to do, wishing he was one of the cool kids at the back.
These guys can be seen today driving in their pristine hi viz vests fastened up to the collar.
Hope that paints a pic for you.

Can’t imagine anyone talking notice if you’re driving a skip or a bin lorry, type of thing that needs to go everywhere

rob when you mentioned the back seat of the bus it brought back happy memories, we use to play a game called true, dare, double dare ,love kiss or finger… ahhhh smelly sorry happy days… :sunglasses:

TMI…

Lol.

I’ve not once said that cops are out to get me, given enough time I could probably provide some links to prove that  . FWIW I’ve never had any interaction nor to the best of my knowledge spoken to a police officer this century.

You obviously do understand the meaning of the term “black rat” I’m assuming?

Oh dear, how your response made me laugh.
You attempt to disrespect my previous occupation yet if my memory serves me correct,
You failed in an attempt at running a business
You live in a council house
You work for a crap company earning crap money
You spend the majority of your life living in a cab in crap industrial estates eating reheated food.
Your main source of entertainment seems to be posting on a forum for truck drivers.
Please excuse me if I don’t take your comments too seriously.
Enjoy your evening.

I would be interested to know when and why you think it’s ok to deviate from the rules?

Wowsers! Mr Plod’s a bit rattled ain’t he?
Love the way he ignores Wrighty’s post that called him a w…r and Adam’s who basically agreed with the analysis, only to vent his anger on me. but at least he says I ‘made him laugh’ so it was all worthwhile.
You would have thought he’d been waiting for me, :bulb: …what with the old ‘Council house’ dig chestnut (that is used by those who can not form an adult argument) that is chucked at me from time to time by a select few…a bit of snobbery methinks. :bulb:

Now…where do I start, oh yeah, if I was even slightly embarrassed about living in a council house, the last thing I would have done is admit it for knob heads (I’m resisting the urge to say ‘like him’ btw, forum rules and all that) to try and use it against me.

Secondly…(and this is my ‘Piece de resistance’ Rodders  )
Here goes.
I’ve been waiting on here with baited breath, I could hardly contain myself for months I’ve been positively bursting for the first opportunity, for some prick to come out with that one again, just to shut them up.
The fact that it’s you is a bonus.

Why?
Because newsflash about 11 months ago, a relative left me an inheritance enough to buy my skanky gaff, so I got it for next to nothing, with money to spare, I was that proud I even removed the 1970s Cortina on blocks in the front garden,.AND the fridge, so it’ll be worth at least 10k now :sunglasses:
(It’s really nothing like that, it’s a desirable semi in the heart of the ■■■■■■■■ countryside, but it will make certain pricks feel better about themselves if they think that  )
So Mr Plod…pipe & smoke.

As for his other points, let me go through them, so he can write down my statement (and make himself feel important once again. )
So…
1.Correct, but at least I can say I had a go eh?
2.Already shot you down on that one.
3. Hmmmm a bit harsh, but fair.
4. Again fair, but part of being a tramper…beats being a copper anyhoo.
5. Not my main one tbf,.I have a healthy social life fyi, but on hold for obvious reasons.

Yep I’ll excuse you, but on the contrary, you evidently appear to have taken my comments very seriously.
You also have a good evening, polishing your helmet or whatever you guys do.
Thank you for allowing me to have my moment at last.

 Great days, not a worry in the world.
I could say I wish I’d done well at school as I would not be a driver.
Tragic thing is I DID do well,.I actually chose to do this ■■■■. job. :open_mouth: :unamused:
Hey…I could have become a copper, I have O level maths, and A level English, I’d be a dab hand at writing out crime numbers,.English AND Maths, in one hit ., I’d be a natural. :sunglasses:

Hehe…so Black Rat hasn’t been socialised in terms of being a bit less blunt, but basically reiterated what appears to be a consensus on here and the ‘cool kids’ have an issue with it?
As for council houses, nowt wrong with them, but generally not what we all aspire to [emoji6]

Though the discount undoubtedly makes them more attractive

Try and keep up with him ffs…, I quote;…‘‘Failed in an attempt at running a business’’ like he said.
The result was a council house.
Oooh the shame.

I’m surprised those who slag me for voting Tory ain’t picked up on it yet.

Just to get back on thread :unamused:
At least I don’t go down ‘Except for Access’ roads when I don’t really need em.
