Oh yes, this is my current ‘other ride’!!
I went back to two wheels in 1999 and have been racing/spending ever since. 
This was the bike I bought new in 2006 and raced until 2009, (when I bought the Ducati) & at 6 foot and 19 stone I was FAR too big for it, but enjoyed every mile I raced it!! This pic was taken at ‘Clearways’, Brands Hatch.

My 1962 Wolseley 1500.With free road tax and only £63 a year for insurance (with breakdown cover included!), it makes cheap motoring!
And that sir is a very handsome bit of kit. Lovely motor.
Mine? Jaguar S type V6 diesel…(2 turbochargers 
) Keeps me young when I light em up. Wife “drives” it as well, 72 years old and she CAN make it nip on a bit, she scares me.

its one of their new things they do on a saturday, basically a thrash day but doesnt start till 2pm and finishes about 9pm, i had to stop about half 7 though as i had no headlights but i cant complain, there was only 2 of us at the oval all day so muchos track time.
as for helmets yep its compulsory on all parts of the track, doesnt bother me tbh stops all of my face getting bits of rubber stuck to it…or when i get in my mates car it stops my head hitting his roll cage lol
