not local derek (reg number a bit misleading) they are from bristol way and do some MOD work for some of the same departments as us - don’t know much else about them though 
thought it may be mod or similar maybe. read the reg as Lss 4 haz.made me think of explosives !
Thanks for the info lads,I looked on a site that lists where a vehicle is registered and az is belfast , my car is belfast = ez , over here they are nearly all 3 letters and 4 numbers,but that one is a puzzle,if I see him there again I’ll ask him.

not reg from here derek,all our regs start with 3 letters and then 1 to 4 numbers,e.g r e z 1234/ jkz 4321 etc. definitley think thats a personal plate as its l s s 4 haz as in the company being lss and hazardous being their speciality.

Oh ho, a fellow larne man?? If you ever see an orange 206 (lowered, tinted, loud exhaust etc) down around the harbour thats me, im down there all the time to see if theres any tidy wagons coming off the boat. As for the wee orange volvo my dad drove it for a while!! If i remember correctly he was driving to Mcneilly Transport at the time. Any more word on the rumors of the esl take over?? I heard he’s taking over a certain local ‘yellow’ fleet??
