Did you not have a Yes saltire flying over your boat? A bit ironic that you’re against Brussels yet the Nats are braying for a separate EU referendum from England if England votes no to the EU.The SNP’S stated aim is closer ties to Europe
Just because I, as an individual, say out of Europe does not mean that I agree with what is said by the SNP, they have got it wrong as far as I’m concerned !!
And I don’t think your comment was relevant to the bit I answered to, but seeing as you brought the other matter up …

I doubt a lot will change, might lose the WTD, but also might lose the right to 28 days holiday a year
Why would we lose paid holidays? When statutory minimum holidays were introduced throughout the EU because of an EU directive the UK didn’t need to do a thing because there had already been the right to paid holidays in the UK since 1938 and it had already been at the 4 weeks the EU required at least 20 years I know of. The amount we get now in the UK is 1.6 weeks above what the minimum the EU requires.

Without going through pages of history and links, I think you’ll find that the 1938 law didn’t give 28 days or even 20 days and only covered those in certain industries with minimum wage boards. I think the 4 weeks leave + bank holidays many UK workers got was due to workplace agreements.
Given that Euroland are proclaiming and wanting to re-establish the Cross Borders and Control points ' again between Countries , claiming they want to close down & control free-flow across borders- due to the migrant immigration clandestine isis issues :unamused:  , If they do implement , then it wont matter a rats pooper hole that we "Go it alone " once again and leave the EU ( Common Market ). # Either way , we get screwed over. Take a step back - re evaluate - move forward. Before we sink under About time we stood up and said enough is enough. Cabotage is now at its all time greatest in the UK and we do nothing about it... . ■■■■ ,,,, does that mean we have to re-start dipping diesel tanks for ltrs held on board at Aachen again  :unamused: (for those that remember ) . Best start getting some trailer belly tanks built and fitted in preperation boyz  :grimacing: ,, you read it here 1st :sunglasses: , ps. Dontt paint the fill-up caps red, they may get mistaken for a door.

It gave 1 week and I chose that one in particular because it was the first time it applied to everyone and it was that one which continued on with the amount being given increasing every so often until it reached 4 weeks. 4 weeks paid leave was mandatory when I started working in the 1980s but paid bank holidays were up to the employer. That 1938 law was rescinded when the EU Directive was implemented.
The one you’re thinking of was enacted in 1909 I think and applied to “sweaty jobs”. There was a right to paid holiday even before that going back into the mid 1800s but for specific trades and it wasn’t a lot.
I think we will see the rise of a FOURTH RICHE if thats how its spelt or is it FITH RICHE ,or maybe Russia will invade. Apart tfrom that not much will change.
I believe that we will still be a member of some kind, if not for the trade value, all the other stuff will remain the same, its just that we will save loads of cash by not being a member. We will fareb on our own, but we will not have to listen to unnelected beaurocrats from Brussels, we can control our borders ( well we are supposed to be doing that anyway as we are not in Shengen, but a lot of our neighbours are closing the gates anyway to stem the flood of the hordes migrating, hence billions of euros to Turkey to help achieve that, and thanks to Angela Merkel for welcoming them, which has since backfired.
Euro members will still be able to come here, and us to their without visas etc, its a win win for the uk.
