Week before last, had to use all three of my ten hour drives on the wednesday
I take it this has been another back pedal/tactical edit as things werenāt going as perceived by o/p.
What was it all about?

No i thought this was a forum for those who worked in the transport industry and where drivers of what ever and who hold HGV licences. I also wanted to say that there are some good jobs out there that dont mean sitting outside the same RDC each day. Okay i can see from some of the comments made that some people on here think what aload of bull someone doing Ibiza on Monday by road and going to Sweden on Friday. However it is true surely we all want to here about the interesting things some of the driver get to do on here if people want to belittle me for putting a post on asking everyone where they went that made a week a bit more interesting than the norm and made the week busy then i chose to remove the post. However it does make me think should i do a post with pics for the non believers on here and i include vern in that who i have met personally and should know me better. I work for a international car transportation company that get all sorts of requests from customers so we have to be flexible as drivers as you can be asked to deliver 10 cars to Portugal and collect a full load to come back or like me deliver 2 cars by road to Ibiza and collect 1 from Sweden. Surely weas drivers want to know what people are doing that makes the job different and interesting at times but hay maybe not.

had to change a wheel on the m18 this week⦠does that count?Depends, what did you change it for
Because thisā¦
0Did very briefly think about re-inflating itā¦
Ha ha, nice one, worrying thing is, I actually know drivers who would try to drive with a tyre hanging off like that [emoji33]
Forgive the pedantry, but ā2 cars to Ibiza by roadā? Didn`t know there was a bridge there yet.
Busiest DAY
Some years ago, 5a.m. start in depot
8.a.m. out in 7.5 tonner pick up in Bucklebury, deliver to Heywood, arrive back at depot at midnight.
Manager taught me how to use a disc as a frisbee straight into shredder.

Last year i did Mallorca and virtually a full lap of Spain in one week, that wouldnt be believed either. The problem you have on this forum is that most on here are UK based drivers who at the very max will do one end of the little island to the other and call them selves ādistance driversā or 'trampers ā and have little or no experience driving on the continent and dont realise how much easier (generally) it is to get about and actually do big mileage within the time constraints. These very same drivers will do everything possible to put down european drivers for all manner of things from badly maintained vehicles/ driving standards to wearing flip flops ect.
I really wouldnt let it bother you mate, just carry on driving/working in interesting places (in the heat of the sun) and let the non believers get on with itā¦

You have included me in your quote, but I hope you are not including me in your opinion of trampers, (which I agree with btw) as you could not be more wrong in my caseā¦

Yeh no probs mate.
I thought it was a bit funny and unjust, as I do get a bit of stick on here for speaking up for foreign drivers.
Stick from the anti foreigen crew, who mostly have never been South of Dover on their Tesco and Travis Perkins deliveries
So I do agree with you.
my das did a 1 hitter to Dresdenā¦started on backshift early in the mornā¦2 drops in dresden, then run back back for lunchā¦this was years ago before speed limiters came inā¦and he was in his Lancaster bomber at the timeā¦
I didnāt doubt you Declan! I said you were digging a hole slagging others off. But you deleted it after you got sussed mate.
