What is the lowest you have seen in the current climate?

claretmatt:
Form an orderly queue chaps, £10 an hour for class one

OTE up to £45k.

That’s £865 per week top line. Knock off about £100 night out money, and it’s £765.

40 hours at £10 p/h = £400
27 hours at £13.27 p/h = £365

Add on (presumably unpaid) breaks and you’re on 70+ hours a week, every week.

Assuming you’re not running in Sat morning and it’s Mon-fri and 4 nights out, that’s 14 hours duty time per day, every day.

The OTE salary is £173 for every 24 hour period. You’re getting £7.21 for every hour of your time during the week. That’s your worth.

Remind me, what’s the average UK house price again?

Not the lowest pay per hour but surely one of the lowest forms of driver pay abuse?
