I have had my class 2 for a year now, passed in glasgow area, using 8 split box, but the gears were stiff as which made it a bit nervy during the test, but no real problems, just found out that highfield heavies up here don’t do 1 on 1 anymore which would make ritchies a better choice as they offer auto trans on an artic, 2 instructors down the borders in Galashiels use w&d on a Scalia and Volvo both manual, although I passed class 2 in glasgow, I am more familiar with the roads in Galashiels but defo no antics down that way.
