99% certain i saw our old A14 wanderer near Thrapston a few weeks ago.

he was trying to make his way up to edinburgh for a photo shoot as campbells were looking for a new image for next years shortbread tins.
Think the bagpipe player is related to a driver who sadly didn’t survive an accident. He marks the day and other special dates in the families calendar.
I stand to be corrected but I did know the driver.
Last time I was on the A14 a year ago, I had the nodding dog bad, started “wandering” (Brakes Artic), and got hooted by an overtaking warburtons wagon… I’m glad I’m not doing that job any longer! In the morning traffic, it is just another trunk road with people driving on the limiter close enough to read the town on the numberplate!
