Stylish and practical, I like it. Only hope you match it with this when you get out of the cab

Bloody hell!! …Is he/she still on the go??
Spanish Bob…that is a blast from the past.
He must be a ■■■■ good age now.
I bet they’ve got a pink furry fringe around them.

I had a driving assessment yesterday. Lasted maybe 20mins.Only drove a small partner size van, in steel toe caps. Got me thinking, is this what you would have to wear for 15 hours on them days your putting a shift in?
Maybe I just need to get used to it. But defo felt the difference between steel toe cap boots and my regular trainers. Wasn’t too bad because I’ve got a decent pair of boots but are you expected to wear steel toe caps every day whilst driving?
(Sorry if it’s a dumb question. I would think most sites expect you to wear ppe etc, but just wanted to confirm)
What are these 15 hour shifts you speak of ?
Not technically illegal, if footwear inhibits your ability to control your vehicle and puts you or other motorists at risk - then it is deemed illegal. If caught you may be handed a £100 fine, which can rise to £5,000 if the case goes to court. If footwear or clothing contributed to an accident that resulted in death or injury, the penalty could be considerably greater. While it is not illegal to drive barefoot in the UK, you won’t have the same braking force as you do with shoes, so it’s not recommended

Flip flops
Something like this maybe ?
All about the style with me. Plus they are good dusters for the dash
Lol @ some of the replies.
Trainer’s it is. Slip into boots when needed. Sounds spot on for me.
Not sure why I said 15 hour shifts… Isn’t it that you can do 3 X 15 in a week? ( I should really know this as I’ve got my theory in the morning!)
