See the yanks have finally put a logical Euro dash in their trucks rather than a slap of oak with 165 identical switches!!!
At the moment, this
hired in. Its perfectly suitable for the job, just lacking in a few frills.
Compared to the rest of the fleet its a bit like the top gear challanges, I’m driving the “back up” vehicle

Yeah, said it before, i praise our lot for giving us the tools for the job!
I suppose I’m lucky, but I’ve never had to spend the night in the cab. However, as I was leaving work the other morning, I could swear I saw a XF105 with an extended cab turning into Birch Coppice Business Park. Now that has got to be worth the night out money! Or should I be going to Specsavers?

Ahem…Proper Peterbilt dashboards are dripping in chrome and are best viewed from low down in the seat
I wanna do some more nights out! Not many nights out for night trunkers though. I’d rather do a few years doing several nights out a week now when I’ve got no commitments than when I have.

Always got the impression that was reserved for the favoured few, though it’s usually a trailer swap at Penrith from what I’ve heard. I did Motherwell the once and had a night in one of their scania rigids.
I meant more of a regular thing than that really though.
Funnily enough, most of the nights out I’ve done were in a daf cf 26tonner which was quite comfortable really.
