.The fact is Fascist Germany was actually also Socialist and Russia used the title of Socialist to decribe a Communist government.George Orwell wasn’t clever enough to understand that extremism is all the same thing whatever it’s called until he experienced it and his (eventual) disillusionment with Socialism was the reult of finding that fact out for himself.

I think the answer to your question is that,to my knowledge,the Russians were (probably still are) Communists and the Arabs,who used the weapons which Russia supplied to them to attack Israel in 1967 and 1973,were Muslims and one of the main reasons why those Muslim Arabs attacked the Israelis was because Israel,was (probably correctly) seen by those Muslims as being a Jewish State.
As I’ve said the same situation also seems to be the ongoing case now,concerning the present day issues,between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the State of Israel and any country which supports it,and the evidence of Russian co operation,in providing nuclear weapons technology and the technology concerning the means to deliver those weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran,seems to me to be no different to the situation when it provided weapons,to those Arab states,to attack Israel,in the past.Except that this time it probably won’t just be Israel that’s threatened.
In which case even Alf Garnett could understand what it is that I’m talking about although it’s all obviously a bit above your level of understanding.However you can probably guess where I think all the adjectives,which would have needed to be replaced by zb would have been if I’d have bothered to put them there.

Not exactly.I doubt that mad old major could even have imagined in his worst nightmares the possibility of us and America having ever allowed Russia and Iran to co operate at this level to pose such a threat.Together with support from the British immigrant Asian community allowed to live here also calling for Jihad against us and even worse seemingly also supported by many Brits themselves who believe all the bs propaganda put out by the Russians and those Asians.

If the Russians only armed the Arabs ‘to hack of the Americans’ during the 1960’s and 1970’s they seemed to have gone a ‘bit’ over the top on the amounts of hardware provided.To any sane person it looked like an attempt to provide the Arabs with sufficient arms to wipe Israel off the map not to ‘hack off any Americans’.Obviously nothing changes in the Russian mindset.The only difference is now in the thinking of those who ‘were’ against them like the British.
