What band would you like to have played in?

Carlc:
Got to be Status Quo for me. I have been to see these guys loads of times and I still get blown away when they fire up “Caroline”. They are also one of the best live bands you will ever see. I could just picture my self being the 6th Quo member playing the comb and paper. :grimacing:
Cliff

Well said that man :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Rocking All Over The World, or at least at Bridlington Spa Theatre, every other week, spelling the gig with Dead Loss and his Orchestra

if I had a choice I would have been in The Doors with the great Jim :sunglasses:

Got to be the Quo, seen them back in 84 IIRC at Deeside leisure centre in N.Wales on their “Final Farewell Tour”

Then about 20 odd years later in Delamere Forest, still as rocking as ever. The audience spans from 8 to 80 and every one just having a great time .

Gotta be Dire Straits, back in the 80’s, not so keen on Knopflers ‘newer stuff’ although I’m secretly hoping her indoors has got me tickets to Wembley in May for my 40th, I first saw them at the old Wembley back in '85.

Pink Floyd, Guns N Roses, Limp Bizkit or being a little morep to date, Kings of Leon.

Agreed, alchemy was one of their best live albums. I was brought up on dire straits and fleetwood mac

RUSH…I wish!

JLS so I could punch that smug ■■■■■■■ Aston “thanks to my niece for the name” in his face :smiling_imp:

Hawkwind, man! Stonehenge Free Festival, 1983! :sunglasses:

Jefferson Airplane, Woodstock 1967.

My next one but I can’t see how or when it will happen as I’m not based in one place.

failing that, louis prima’s big band

Yep, Grace Slick was a babe of the first degree!

Well, aren’t you lot all showing your age

Squiddy:
Well, aren’t you lot all showing your age

Squiddy:
Stone Roses ‘Resurrection’ as singer or drummer. Happy mondays ‘Step on’ as singer or maraca shaker! Amongst other 1990’s classics.

No bands or songs from the last 20 years from you Squiddy, just who is it that’s showing the age here? anyway great music is great music and “age shall not wither it”

Deftones, P.O.D., Creed…
