A lot of the best tracks here - are around 20 years old.

On the subjects of “Music” and “Trade”, I guess I’m putting as much “Globalist” hat on as I’m ever going to there…

Found this guy recently, he certainly brightens up the day:

This bloke has been around since the mid 60s. He started off with a novelty song “Sadie the Cleaning Lady” and was loved by the mum’s. From there he went more pop, gaining a big girly following. After getting into more rock oriented material, he became universally admired.
This week he had major surgery for the big C.
Best wishes, John Farnham.

A true story, such was the devastation that building codes were updated, forecasts were modernised and the landscape changed forever.

Yep Judge Dread…I was about 14 to 15 pre Punk era, .pretending to be ‘‘ded ard’’ with a skinhead cut with razor parting, Crombie jacket, drainpipe Wrangler jeans,.tucked into brown highly polished Doc Martin boots,. We were the original skinheads :unamused:
I used to think I looked really cool :sunglasses: …(but in reality looking back, I looked a complete and utter 2hat.  )

They would not let us into the football with the boots on kinda sticks in my mind…Bovver boots we used to call them (how embarrassing now btw  )

Anyhoo back on topic,.we used to stomp.around on the dance floor to ska and reggae tunes, including stuff from Dave and Ansil Collins and… ‘The Judge’'.
‘Big 6’ and ‘Big7’ springs to mind, comedy records as far as I remember,.he had a big following,.and he had a couple of singles referring to skinheads…or skins.
Good days without a care in the ■■■■ world.

WHEN i was driving, sometimes we would double man down to SPAIN or ITALY wherever , if it was" my truck" not really, but the truck i had been allocated by the office, i would have ONE rule no music whatsoever ,there is nothing worse than having to listen to some one else’s music ,all the years i drove with in Europe i never played music at all and like lots of other drivers i went all over , i never felt the need.

I expect it stems from the late 1960s when you could not hear anything but the engine also road noise coming up through the pedals ,no radios then even now i never listen any type of music however i am still deaf in both ears, also tinnitus in both ears beware ,that is without music… dbp.
