pretty sure this is only something for production. When moving the truck around before the final wheels are mounted (i.e. paint shop etc) they mount wheels with only 2 studs/nuts to save time. they are probably then high tensile strength for that reason, extra load / safety. After the production line i can’t think of any other benefit other than a marker for the tyre man but no truck manufacturer is really going to do this for their benefit
Might just be something MAN does, our new Volvo’s don’t have this so presume its as said especially if they are marked with a higher tensile rating, to allow movement of rolling chassis without all the nuts being fitted, no point in taking them out once the final build is done. Franky.
