I find it strange that given all the recent ‘austerity measures’ and
cut backs that the Police have the time ,budget and manpower to
do the work of ROSPA and the HSE.

I’m not refering to the hands on operation of the Police in such
scenarios, i’m refering to the media campaigns such as the video
you have linked to.

Some people will have a hard time working out why they have no
police cover due to cut backs and there we have an officer making
you tube videos to warn truckers not to drink drive.
