The day will come eventually when this is an average hourly rate.
Of course by that time it’ll also cost £8 for a can of coke, £25 for a fish supper, Petrol will be £10 a litre and the average house price will be about £650,000 for a 2 bedroom semi detached

House price is nearly there then :stuck_out_tongue:

£30 ph on a 40 hour week for 46 weeks per year is £55k per year. Good, but not ridiculous.

55k for a 40 hour week. For driving a lorry. Just checking, you are talking lorry driving and not barrister or Doctor?

Aim for the stars Rodney, aim for the stars

On radio 5live this morning Kevin Green , a recruitment expert , claims that drivers can earn up to £30 to ?35 per hour. Who is paying this as I believe that I can help them with their driver shortage…still waiting

Must be for the Polish agency drivers then as none of the Brit ones I know are getting the work…oh and I’m sure the more names they get on their recruitment books the more money they get from the government. All seems Orwellian to me…the opposite is happening to what they say. Who said it was 2015, more like 1984. :open_mouth:
