To be honest Dennis I didn’t have a look. Tracy took the pic while I was taking a close look at one of the other lorries.
Just asked her Dennis,it was in the corner behind the steelboys lorries,thats why I didn’see it.

I drove a six wheeler D series on Philpotts John,went well,but they were only 20 ton gross then,it wa on an H plate 1970.


A well known work horse off the 60’s and 70’s.


This ERF tipper still looks capable of doing a good days work,at over 40 years old.


These Scammell’s with the Michelotti cab always had a distinctive look.


A nice Bull Bar on this Scania.


Was a bit surprised not to see more of these Daf’s at Gaydon.

I used to service that unit when it was owned from new by a black country steel hauliers called Stokes and Downing.
That particular motor was driven by the boss himself Geoff Stokes, a gentle giant of a man !

Someone will know what this Foden was used for,looks like an ex twin steer unit,before the engine was placed on the back.
