Hi boys
A few months ago the council went to the Midway and the Ravan cafes and told them if they didn’t take on the maintenance of the public toilets on the car park they would close them and they would loose trade. You can guess what they said. The owner of the Raven cafe told the council if they stopped giving VOSA permission to use the car park he would consider taking the toilets on as when they were there his trade was none existent.
Regards Keith

Hi Keith,
I asked Phil at the Midway about Vosa 12 months ago,and he said he had complained about them killing his trade. After his complaint they kept coming there more often. At least the day we were there a couple of weeks ago they were’nt there. We got quite a few pics in a short time.
Cheers Dave.

That’s ridiculous Keith, they are ruining peoples livelihood. If I owned one of those cafes I would take them on as that is persecution, both for the haulage industry and the cafe owners.
Cheers Dave.

Lafarge and Tarmac merger is a big topic at the moment. The monopoly people have told them both to get rid of quite a few places before it can happen.
Cheers Dave.

I wonder if that’s an ex Churngold wagon? They’ve gone to white wagons and the body design looks like theirs…

Ardens have a smart fleet of trucks, Dave. They usually run Volvos and I think they’re based just off the A51 as you approach Chester from Tarvin.
