Hi truckfing,
Can’t really complain,he is entitled to overtake,we had some good pics spoiled by passing traffic, but then again the road is for vehicles, not camera’s.
That’s a good pic of Gammond’s.Where abouts was that taken.
Cheers Dave.It is taken from a motorway bridge about a mile from our house ( near Garstang, north of Preston. Between the A6 and M6 ) I have two points from where I take pictures near this bridge, one of them I only discovered last Friday. Since I retired I have a look down there most days. Occasionally I just take them from the bridge. I also go all over the country taking pictures. If my wife is with me she drives and I photograph.
A6 Northbound with my wife driving, just like you do but mine refuses to take pictures.
A6 Southbound, again from passenger seat of car
M6 Northbound. This is the spot that I have just found.
M6 Southbound, this is a spot that I have been using for several years
Cracking pics truckfing. I know where Garstang is,we stayed at Heysham for a week and went around that area going to Fleetwood and Blackpool. Just thought we took some pics at Heysham of lorries waiting for the ferry, will dig them out.
Did you drive tippers.
Cheers Dave.
I served my time on tippers then went plant fitting in a few quarries before taking my HGV. I then drove for a few o/ds at weekends and holidays until I had enough money to buy my own. Then did 15 years as an owner driver running 4 at the peak carrying tarmac for Hansons.
FmTipper:
I know I’m not Welshbut here’s on from across the water of my little FM10 delivering to the local hardware
Cheers
John

No relation Dave. The ERF replaced a Bedford TM (■■■■■■■ not Detroit, don’t want to start all that off again) I was running at 32 tonnes but when they put 8 leggers up to 32 I couldn’t get any loads with the artic.

You’ll have to accept my humblest ect. ect. Truckfing but seeing as Yappie appears to know who everyone is or was in this neck of the woods how come he had you down as a possible VOSA man? Dennis.

Hi Harry,
No I wouldn’t do that was trying to make her laugh, which is quite easy,as she has a good sense of humour, which she needs living with me.
That pic was taken between Fishguard and St Davids this time last year.
Cheers Dave.
