One of Alick Archer’s, Scania artic bulk tippers, on the A4110 heading into Leintwardine to their yard.

Another of Mervyn Thomas, MAN tractor units, parked at his Eardisley depot.

Nice pic’s again Dave, the little FL6 skipper looks like she’s been blessed with a good load, sat well down on the back, always a problem with the skip job, folk just fill um up no idea of how heavy it is.

cheers

John.

Dave i’m not sure exactly where they come from but do you know of Alan R Jones ? Runs blue & white Renaults

Cheers

Hi John,
Quite agree about the skips, everyone piles them high, not unusual to see a skip lorry with the front in the air,as its trying to lift a loaded skip.
Cheers Dave.

Congratulations Dave on getting to page 50,well done mate for an interesting thread and a big pat on the back must go to your photographer in the passenger seat…keep it coming
Cheers Bubbs.

Thanks Marc,
Only pity about this thread is that the majority of pics are of modern vehicles. I have got some more older pics promised. Quite right about my photographer,my better half Tracy takes the pics, don’t always have the camera ready when we meet an older lorry, but fair play, she is very patient, not many women would take as many lorry pics as she has.
Cheers Dave.

Hi boys
Well done Dave and Tracy great thread keep them coming. I don’t know how you get such great photos when your on the move.

Regards Keith.

Its all credit to Tracy, Keith, she takes the pics. I just tell her which one’s to take and which to leave. White plain moters tend to get left, sorry to the drivers whose vehicles they are,but I just think they look bland in the standard factory colour.
That will probably annoy some,as I know its down to cost. Some that have got goodies and a splash of different paint look ok.
Cheers Dave.

One of Gamber Logistics from Pengethly near Ross on WYE,seen on the A49,at Wellington Herefordshire.

Dave, one of my regular threads is this one - congrats on your half century! Keep em coming and fair play to your other (better?) half for her camera skills. :sunglasses:

great thread Dave -

Well done Dave, and Tracy. Fifty great pages.
Keep them coming.

How long has it been dual carriageway at Church Stretton Dave?
Not been down the A49 since March 1979. :unamused:

Hi Chris,
No dual carriageway, just two lane at the lights, the left hand lane on approach are for turning left, single again, once through. The photo is a bit deceiving Chris.
Cheers Dave.
