A well known vehicle from Shropshire - long serving Scania 143 K289XRF - over in Kinver today - loading up opposite the Holy Austin Rock houses
A big 360% machine to swing on tyres instead of tracks.

Back in the 80’s Pontrilas Sawmills had a Foden unit with an overcab crane like that one.John Powell from Knighton drove it and loaded his artic and two others who ran with him, mainly out of Dovey Forest near Machynlleth back to Pontrilas, also sometimes hauling in Scotland all week and loading onto trans to Hereford Station and running the lorries back down loaded, then hauling from Hereford Station into Pontrilas.
Cheers Dave.
A tractor driver with a bit of sense,at least he’s keeping well to the left on the A49 on Leominster bypass.
One of DHL’s artics, seen going off the A49 Leominster bypass over the railway bridge making its way to their Station Approach depot.
