One from your neck of the woods Dave, is there much lime spreading now a days?

Ivor Duggan is a good friend on mine Pete. He is still very busy spreading lime and fibrophos. He isn’t behind the wheel himself these days,
he is busy organising work and loading lorries from his yard. Steve and Shaun his two sons do the spreading and he runs four tippers keeping them going.
Cheers Dave.

Thank You for reply Dave,I don’t get out much now! :frowning:

I’ve live here all my life Pete, and I’ve never seen or heard of Chandler’s or the ERF KV. I will ask a mate who worked out of Rhayader quarry for years, if anyone up that way had that lorry.
Cheers Dave.

Good evening all.
The ERF KV belongs to Mike Chandler from Llanyre , Llandrindod Wells.
Mike is a HGV tester with VOSA.
He was station manager at Llandrindod Wells when the station was operating there.
The vehicle is in fine shape and very well looked after.
I believe Mike shows the vehicle quite often during the season.
He displayed it at the Boatside Farm Vintage Rally, Hay-on-Wye. last August.
Best regards Jack.

No wonder I’ve never seen it Jack. Haven’t seen it at the shows I go to yet. I don’t get to Boatside, as its not suitable for me.
Pity really, as they look to have some interesting stuff there.
Cheers Dave.

I remember Tanners wine and spirit Bedford TK’s delivering, also Aber Carriers had a fleet of blue TK’s with a depot at Welshpool. They used to come to our shop in the village, also Danish Bacon ran Bedfords A types and later TK’s.
Cheers Dave.
