Hi Dave ,
Its one of W. Metcalfe & Sons , of Appersett , near Hawes , North Yorkshire , - where the Wensleydale ( Wallace & Gromit ) cheese is made. W. Metcalfe & Sons is an old-established family-run business . They used to run between Liverpool - Teeside , and Hawes was a half-way point on the journey. They also did livestock haulage , but closed that side of the business about 12 years ago. Thanks for
snapping summat from Yorkshire . As the late , great Freddie Trueman would have said : "
Til next time , al si thi ". !!
Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Hi Roy,
Malc step commented about it being from his neck of the woods. Its nice to see the different parts of the country where the lorries come from written on the vehicle. We have taken quite a few from Yorkshire in the last three years. The A49 is always a good road for taking pics,as a lot of heavy motors use it.
Cheers Dave.
