Neil did quite a bit of driving for the late Bill Knill, both on lorries and coaches. I have quite a few of his pics to sort through, and he tells me he has more, if people enjoy them.

Ex Nash Rocks I think who bought Miles of Builth Road and used this one from there. A chap called Billy Hope used to drive for Miles, and before that R & B from Llanwrthwl. Still around, but long retired.

I might be a bit rusty these days Dave, correct me if I’m wrong but I think it has a rear lift axle, not rear steer.

Rear lift it is Keith would have been a wonderful addition in the eight wheeler
and drawbar days when you got lumbered with a trailing axle jobbie when the
weather wasn’t in your favour.

You can get lift and steer on a Scania 8 Legger as I have just enquired about a new 8 legger and Keltruck offered me that option
