Hi Keith,
Neil did quite a bit of driving for the late Bill Knill, both on lorries and coaches. I have quite a few of his pics to sort through, and he tells me he has more, if people enjoy them.
Cheers Dave.

Ex Nash Rocks I think who bought Miles of Builth Road and used this one from there. A chap called Billy Hope used to drive for Miles, and before that R & B from Llanwrthwl. Still around, but long retired.
Cheers Dave.

A Scania 8x2 rear steer tanker, seen on the A4111 at Eardisley, Herefordshire.
I might be a bit rusty these days Dave, correct me if I’m wrong but I think it has a rear lift axle, not rear steer.
(Hope you are well and still getting out & about)
Regards, Keith.
Hiya,
Rear lift it is Keith would have been a wonderful addition in the eight wheeler
and drawbar days when you got lumbered with a trailing axle jobbie when the
weather wasn’t in your favour.
thanks harry, long retired.

You are quite right Keith, getting rusty myself. Would need both axles steering on an eight legger for it to work.
Cheers Dave.

You can get lift and steer on a Scania 8 Legger as I have just enquired about a new 8 legger and Keltruck offered me that option
