The Bedford KM was new to livestock hauliers Preece & Wood from Almeley Keith. I asked Neil where it came from, and when he told me, I remember Les Preece driving it. :blush: :laughing:

Dave, I see these have moved into the old Pickfords yard a couple of miles
along the road from me at Birtley, there’s quite a few curtainsiders and a
few units in there, I’ve no idea what they carry or is it just a change over
point can’t see there being much work for them in this area been so many
home reared hauliers gone to the wall over the last few years, unless the
economy has picked up and I’ve missed it, just hope it might have created
a few jobs for local people.
