Bill Jones drove this Albion for Man-Abell, seen here at the Gore weighbridge in the 1970’s. Bill drove out of the quarries for over 30 years and was a legend on Old Radnor Trading Company. Man-Abell and finally Tilcon retiring in 1981 after driving a Foden eight legger. A 400 mile a day man was Bill.

Must have had a couple of log books Dave, to do 400 miles a day in those days, with the roads and the lorries they had.

West Drayton and back John, then a load to Hereford,or two to Manchester. Could be my old man with Passey Nott Bedford KM parked on
the weighbridge and stood talking to Bill.

Same place Pete, except what was the office in the pic is now the drivers waiting room. Tower opposite side for weighbridge clerk. Drivers must remain in the cab when on the bridge.
