Hi Tony,
I do remember seeing their lorries over the years. What always caught my eye is the three initials and the name,
Haven’t any old pics of any lorries as I never carried a camera, like a lot of my generation. Its good to see these older family business still trading.
Cheers Dave.

Thought that could have been my Stepdad for a second, he drives for O’Reilly’s out of Heysham. His truck has those green L & S signs for Euro work on the front though.

Hi dew,
We were up Shrewsbury way yesterday and saw an O’Reilys artic again, can’t remember if we got a pic of it or not.We get some and miss some as we are travelling and miss some when parked because Tracy can’t get a clear view of the lorry.
Cheers Dave.
My old mate TNUK member Graham aka gah1950 sent me some pics of the big Scania he drives, seen here at Nant Helen opencast mine with a drilling machine on board the trailer.
They used to tow the drilling rigs around the quarries with an Austin Gypsy.Times have changed and coal drilling is different to stone.A different day and age.
A rear view of the drilling rig.Quite a big lump behind the big Scania of Graham’s.
The light on this pic isn’t the best, one of Carrs of Billington Volvo’s ( I think ) seen on the A49 near
Church Stretton.
Always nice to see pic’s of Grahams truck Dave, proper driver.
cheers
John.
