Thanks Marc,still a long way behind your thread in views.Tracy’s camera has as you say taken a lot of pics but still keeps going.Will have to replace it for her sometime.She’s taken more pics for me than for her own use with it .

I remember Peter Preston having that six wheeler.I think it came from down your way one of the Mendips quarries,also a mate of Peters a chap call Rob Stuchbery also had a Scania from that way.Both had lift axles.Peter still runs a smart Scania eight wheeler out of the Strinds/Doyhir Quarries.Rob now runs a smart Scania artic with a curtainsider on general haulage.

Looks a bit Fred Sherwoodish Dave right colours ,but I have’nt seen that branding before.

dont think it’s a sherwood unit think it’s a H J lea oaks trailer unit could be a subbie but think it’s more likely to be some part of oak’s

H J Lea Oakes seem to be running a lot of vehicles down this way lately.I know they have some at Knighton and one at Abermule.They must have got more salesmen on for them.
