Back to Kington Vintage Show, with a small Bedford TK, which compared to Grahamâs motor looks tiny.

Photo is of one of âTichâ Normans Sed-Atkis taken around 1985 at the side of the River Severn north of Day House Quarry at Tidenham near Chepstow where we fetched the âbig stuffâ down for loading via a chute on to a barge equipped with a grab which was used for re-instating the undermined banks of the river.

A cracking pic MAGIC. Normanâs always ran a nice fleet from Holme Lacy. They also have a nice Seddon on the show circuit.
Cheers Dave.

Actually I did have a beard for twenty plus years, but now I am banned from having a beard by my partner who has been with me for about ten years.

Hello R O F,
The two axles on the inter dolly are indeed positively steered by means of the steering head that is incorporated in the turntable that fits into the throat of the fifth wheel plate,The rear five axles are steered in a similar manner but can be manualy steered by a radio graphic system or a wander lead which plugs into the swan neck or into the rear of the trailer,We only resort to manual steering if we find ourselves in a tight place.
Regards Graham.
Well done on 700 Dave, this is one of my favourite threads. Regards, Mizzo.
