Yes Keith, we had a great holiday with good weather every day. Mayglothling run various wagons besides the tankers on waste, they are all tied into that type of work.If you look on their website, it shows the various kit they have, quite a big outfit these days.
Cheers Dave.
Thanks for that Dave , will check this one out ! regards Keith
Oh dear Dave , I just clocked Graham’s photos from hillhead .it reminded me that I started work there in the garage in 1959 , 55years ago . I think I will go and lie down somewhere cool and dark until I feel better . Cheers ( feeling very old ) dave
Just a few more of Grahams from Hillhead for you Dave AKA Rigsby.
Cheers Dave.
Hiya,
Love the rope handles on the 12 x 12s never seen that before of course
this is the 21st century and my cross pull chains were usually acquired
from British Rail borrowed when dropping in for a “dead loco” in the 60s
to transport usually to Barry, those “screw bottles” did the job though I
never lost anything, happy days Oh’ and the trailer boy stripping the old
loco cab of it’s brass fittings for a “weigh in”, as I travelled.
thanks harry, long retired.

Quite a bit from South Wales still use it Keith, and then it becomes the A44 at Golden Cross with a lot of heavy stuff from up this way and beyond joining.
Cheers Dave.
