Always remember when I was a kid Keith, that HA was a Birmingham number.
Cheers Dave.

The other angle of the ERF 240,which I’m sure Rob Wakefield told me he was driving.

Another classic eight legger, seen at Cosford.

Cheers Dave.

Rob is pretty good Dave but even he cannot drive two at once, unless of course he has something hanging on the hook of that wrecker he plays around with! He CAN walk on water though…

Pete.

Hi Pete,
Perhaps it was someone else that told me about the ERF , a bloke with glasses in his 50’s. Said he is a mate of yours.
Cheers Dave.

Pete.

It was probably Rob that I was talking to. Should have had a longer chat with him, seeing as he has a Commer. I drove a Maxiload a bit bigger than his, but with the TS3 engine which was a good lorry.
Cheers Dave.

Richard Cresswell’s AEC supporting the Midlands Air Ambulance, which has one of its three bases at RAF Cosford.

A smart Leyland, from Pete the Windrush part of the world.

A Bedford TL at Cosford

BULMERS

Nice one Keith. Bulmers ran a lot of Volvo’s when they had their own fleet.
Cheers Dave.

I still associate them with Fodens! :unamused: It’s my age.

Yes, as you say Casey, they did run a lot of Foden’s, but then had Volvo F88’s and so on.
Cheers Dave.

I watched them regularly powering through the market day traffic in Hereford as a young lad and hoped in vain to hear a two-stroke! Sadly Bulmers would rather the longevity of a Gardner.

Freddie Brace had two eight legger Foden two stroke tippers hauling out of the Gore, when I was driving Casey.
Cheers Dave.
