morn Dave and all, those 2 timber trucks come from cound moor cressage side of shrewsbury. they owened by John hall. his late dad was into timber but more planting and logs, but things change and now run trucks. cheers charlie

Yes I knew they were from up your way Charlie,have seen the bonneted Scania at the Shropshire Truckshow, have seen them down this way a lot recently. They must have got a job down here.

An Abbey Road-tanks Daf XF,seen on the A49 at Church Stretton.

Abbey took over the powder tank operations of R H Stevens when they packed in. Don’t know what they would have paid for about eight knackered old trailers, but it was probably too much! Two of Stevo’s managers went to Abbey at the same time.

Abbey took over the powder tank operations of R H Stevens when they packed in. Don’t know what they would have paid for about eight knackered old trailers, but it was probably too much! Two of Stevo’s managers went to Abbey at the same time.

Abbey seem to be a big outfit Casey, judging by the amount of their wagons I see.
