Narrow bit of road where that happened Tony.Quite a few wagons cut through that way to Wooferton.I would think Steve Deakins will need another unit to replace that one.Also typical reporting,there is no way he was carrying 32 tons,28 perhaps would be about right.

How many Renaults do they have , i spoke to one of their drivers a while ago and they are very pleased with the performance of them ! regards Keith
Not sure Keith, they are supposed to be packing the artics up at the end of the month. They must have a few Renaults, only running 7 artics so they say.

Yes I remember those Keith. I did get a job with them years ago, would have been driving a Thames Trader hauling apples to London, but having a girlfriend and parking my pride and joy newish Cortina overnight in their yard swayed me to stay put.

when I was a kid,he had an old type Fordson Major with a Perkins engine in it.

No Keith, Adam Lythgoe Ltd were from Cheshire I think and had lime quarries up that way,with contractors all over the place spreading for them. Vic Adams from Llanfair Waterdine near Knighton had a couple of lorries years ago.
