No problem Graham, its lower than my sprinter. I did drive several Bedfords including having a week on a J type while my lorry was in for plating.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Dave remember these ERFs well used to run up “Scotch” regularly from Lancashire
and meet up with a couple of these at the Jungle for Sunday lunch my trailer boy
had the knack of scrounging a substantial bag of sweets from the drivers before
we set off after dining, when in the café all the other drivers used to eat their
food with one eye on me and my “boy” and when we got up to leave so did all the
other drivers making sure they got away up Shap before I did the old Octopus was
a slow old girl and if I ever managed to get away first there was always one hell of
a convoy following me and when they got to a point where they could pass the guys
going past used to offer me boxes of matches to set my motor on fire, happy days.
thanks harry, long retired

A bit different nowadays Harry. I don’t think there is the camaraderie among drivers like there was years ago. I have a load of photo’s from Gaydon to post. The PC is uploading them at the moment.
Cheers Dave.

One from each side of the Atlantic at Gaydon.

ERF are celebrating their 80th anniversary, so there was a lot of that marque at the show.

On we go with two more.
