Got to admit Dave that I find it amazing that she has the patience to take photo’s of lorries. She isn’t always taking lorry pics as we travel around, she does like to enjoy the countryside without looking for lorries .
Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave, Great site keep the pics coming !I found one of my pics was of the Lawley’s ERF that Steve posted earlier, taken in 1975 when she was still an artic, in the layby at Churchstoke.
Regards
MaggieDPretty sure thats Chirbury, where my Grandad Mark…Landy’s (Joe) brother lived who together started the firm in 1956 and had nothing but ERF’s.
That pole carraige you see there was also used to take a stick of 80’ long to cut for a beam when Yorkminster Cathedral had the fire,my uncle Bri took that.Could be Chirbury Brian as the Church wouldn’t be in the background at Churchstoke. I remember Lawley Bros wagons around.
Its a great pic that MaggieD posted.
Cheers Dave.Definatily Chirbury Brian, just had a look on google earth and the Church at Churchstoke has a pointed spire.
Cheers Dave.
Evening all,I trust I find you all well and in good health!
That’s confirmed the location then and aye, nice one MaggieD (named after a Magurus Deutz I wonder?) and a great topic Dave, keep it up buddy.

I’m getting used to the larger pics now Dave; Think I’ll try some on Smiths page (been pm’ing dave for advice regarding Photobucket). Regarding blurred pics I can sympathise; Some I take in “perfect” conditions and then come out blurred; Others I take moving and they come out like they were stood still

Nice to know Oxfordshire County Council aren’t alone Dave; They’ll cone off a lane so some horsy people can pick ragwort while the flashing arrow lorry idles with 3 men in the cab drinking tea and “viewing” the Sport…
