Hereford haulier Phill Preece Scania R620,seen at the show.

Hi Dave sounds like a show I didn’t think there would be so many lorries there! sound like I will go there next year . I am hopefully going to Gaydon . It would be nice to put some faces to names . Tony

Hi Tony,
All being well we shall be going to the Retro show at Gaydon. With a bit of luck we should have good weather like the earlier show this year.We will meet up with you if we both get there on the day.
There are a lot of members off this forum that go,but without knowing what they look like or meeting them previously you wouldn’t know who they are.
Cheers Dave.

The blue lights and signage on this one breaks up the white paint nicely.

Shaun Layton 's Ford Transcontinental, seen at Hereford Truckshow.

Hi Dave, I preferred Shaun’s motor in two tone blue. Do you still have that shot to compare them.
Thanks Paul.

Shaun Layton 's Ford Transcontinental, seen at Hereford Truckshow.

hiya,
Did like the look of these Transco’s never drove one but my recollections
of them compared to a Seddon with a Roller engine I was driving when
the Ford was in vogue they couldn’t live with mine both for pull and they
was nowhere near as nippy, I could blow them off all day, and did.
thanks harry, long retired.

Can’t recall anyone running any around this way Harry,so I don’t know much about them.My old boss ran some Renault and a Berliet with the same cab,but can’t remember a Transcontinental.
Shaun has had that one a few years on the show circuit. He doesn’t work as a driver, but his dad ran his own lorries all of his working life. The last few years in Nash Rocks logo, hence the the logo on Shaun’s.
Cheers Dave.

I think this one is Steve Weaver’s I was talking to Steve at the show, but he wasn’t by his lorry at the time.He said he had brought his F10.
