hiya,
Would love a go in this Dave, tell the driver I’ll go easy on his
“trailer” boy if he’ll let me take it for a spin, have shifted this
type of weight with a darned sight less motor than this but it
was a long time ago, wouldn’t get away with it nowadays.
thanks harry, long retired.
Hello Harry,
I would be quite happy for you to take her for a spin anytime you are in this area, just bring your Digicard with you thats all you,ll need.

hiya,
Graham have let my HGV go and have only ever worked with logbooks/sheets
did my last HGVing with the local water authority who still used logbooks the
ones where you draw lines in, wouldn’t have a clue about digi thingy’s or tacho’s
and I doubt if I could climb in the cab,one thing I have noticed your Scania doesn’t
look a million miles different “front on” to the 110s of 60s vintage I did drive one
of them, bet yours is a bit different eh’ would love to read the “spec”.
thanks harry, long retired.
One of Bayliss Bros Scania artic tippers, seen on the A44 near Kington.
hello harry,
you are right in saying the design lines are not worlds apart from the 110s/140s etc.scania have kept i think a more square cab ,but other makes have gone for a lot more curves.as a kid i rode in the octopus and aec,s and bedfords so i know driving this scania is worlds apart from the old stuff with adjustment for this and adjustment for that it sometimes confuses even myself.
