Evening all, Dave, behind that MAN is the end of “Dry Hill” normally has a flag pole up on it. A very bleak, and harsh place in the Shropshire hills, opposite the Long Mynd. My Uncle farmed it for many years, a constant battle against the Bracken and Heather. As a kid Ive had a David Brown VAK up on its rear wheels only, many a time, never used to trouble me !!

That 141 in Glynns colours looks very handsome, always was a handsome livery. Cheerio for now.

I expect you kept nipping down to the Lazy Trout for bacon butties Saviem.I have spent quite a bit of time in there myself over the years. It can be bleak on any of the hills when the weather is bad.I have been up on the Long Mynd many times, fantastic views off there on a clear day.You must be looking back over for Hope Bowdler off that Dry Hill.
I expect you knew the Swain family well living close by.
Cheers Dave.
