Interesting shot for you here Dave,one I took from inside the Test Centre looking into our depot— but in the top right of the shot you can see little dark rectangles silloueted by the sky? Well this was a little fenced off compound where the Ministry had all kinds of lumps of concrete,various,just weathering for years and every so often blokes in white coats would come and do all kinds of tests on them!!! Useless info I know but not a lot of people will know this!! Cheers Dennis.

Looks like a pigeon loft Dennis.I remember you posting a pic before showing the Test Centre next to your yard,possibly carrying out trials to see the affect diesel fumes would have on concrete over a period of time.

Mansel Davies used to run ERF’ and various other makes several years ago,but as they are agents for Volvo they run them,also they have a yard full of old one’s to cannibalise…
I highly recommend both the shows at Gaydon.A great place for a lorry show.We thoroughly enjoyed all the shows that we have been to at that venue.

yea they got some lovely old volvos dave was at a farm at alltwalis a couple of months ago when an old FL7 milk tanker turned up i was blowing the feed off but the roar of the engine brought back lovely memories !! dont make um like they use too !! regards steve

It won’t be long before every firms vehicles are white.No one will be able to afford to have them in any colour other than the factory white.Just put the vinyls on and away.
