Its only a matter of time before every lorry will be white which will be very boring, but less expensive for the hauliers.

I noticed Carpenters of Crudwell have a lorry or two in plain white with green writing as opposed to their usual colour scheme; R Adams have one or two in white aswell.
I’d like to see Hanson go back to ARC "Baby(zb)it yellow in order to tell them apart from LaFarge, Bardons etc

I had 4, that one, another 8 wheeler from brand new and two 4x2 tractors brand new, they should have gone to bulk freight but they didn’t have them because of the power difference, they thought the drivers would moan cuz the rest were FL10s, bugger me a month later they had a rake of FM12s, the powers that be a

The tippers this way at Gore and Dolyhir quarries back in the late 60’s and early 70’s were yellow.I reckon that colour was the safest for tipper work on the public highway,as they stood out. Most of the high viz stuff is yellow or orange.
Cheers Dave.

Cheers Dave.
