hiya,
I dare bet the old AEC has done it’s share of work and all without one iota of bling that’s how a working motor should look they give the appearance of being ready for work and not taken away and wrapped up in cotton wool until the next show, the beauty of the BRS shows is as they was when employed and to be honest that is more my scene, but as a former red and ruster I’m bound to say that.
thanks harry long retired.

I have spot lights on my vehicles Harry, but only two.Its the fashion nowadays for a couple of rows of lights with some drivers. Its a wonder they can afford them, the way things are. I quite agree about the AEC,still loos good enough to go to work.
Cheers Dave.
One from a well known haulier.
A better view of this Kenworth.
No frill’s Foden seen at the Retro show.

The AEC is a nice motor - it was originally a 1977 refueller – we saw it at Newark this year at the AEC rally:
We took some of these a second time,as the light was better.
Andrew’s Peterbilt.
