The two most popular makes at the show, seen together again.
We have seen this nice Scania at several shows this year.
Don’t see many of these at lorry shows.
A couple ore of Britain’s finest.
Dave the Renegade:
This looked a beefy Atkinson Venturer.
But not quite what it seems… it actually started life as a Leader (Rear Steer 6x2 38 ton unit), but it was rebuilt by its then owners, P H Antell & Sons of Shillingstone, into a double drive motor. They had the sleeper put onto it too

Interesting info 240.I guessed the sleeper was an add on,but didn’t know the other part of its history.
Cheers Dave.
Sammy Dog’s 124 and Rowly Ward’s 141,seen together at the show.
Another nice Atkinson.
Nice to see this Ford D series flatbed at the show. The work horses of haulage until a few years ago.
A eye catching motor, just right for an accessories trailer.
Nearside view of the outfit.
Three nice units from Bartletts.
Getting among the V8’s.
Spent a good few hours in this thread, well done Dave, keep it up

Feel a bit of a fraud sticking pics from the Retro show on this thread bubsy06,but they are the pics Tracy took on Sunday.
It was a cracking show.A credit to the organisers.Got plenty of local pics to post when I finish these.
Cheers Dave.
Rowly’s 143
With a super mural on the back. Not usually into these, but that is good.
Another 143 from Wales.
Full frontal view.
Rear view.
From a bit further away.
