That was in august 2008 John,probably about 17 stone then ( fat git ),not quite as bad as that now.We had a week at Heysham.I have been up to the Lake District and on up to Penrith a few times for te day,that was when I was dafter than I am now,mostly when I had 2 litre cars,although I have done it with the transit.Hopefully going to Weymouth this year,will be spending more time around the harbour and enjoying a pint in the evenings.

If so take a look at this VIDEO of the Weymouth Harbour Branch Line which used to run down the steets to the harbour side, love the bits were they bounce the cars out of the way.

was out tonight with a few of the trucknet members and my old boss barry cosslett was there and i enquired on the bedford with the hereford suffix,he said as far as he is certain the bedford was new to roberts in coleford who at the time were coal merchants,hope this is of help to you.

A smart Volvo FM tipper heading into Borth with a load for the sea defence.Hi Dave thats one of O J Jones porthmadog`s lorries. he hasnt had it long. still waiting to find time to paint it yellow. Hes got 4 on that job delivering stone from Hanson Ystrad meurig
This wagon used to be Steve Passoni’s in Winsford. Used to pull out the Cheshire sand holes but sold it to OJJ last year I think.
I think this trucks been chipped to about 500BHP.
500 ponies in an 8 legger- nice!!
i had 4 of those one 380 and 3 420 s cracking trucks by the way where s dave.

i had 4 of those one 380 and 3 420 s cracking trucks by the way where s dave.
I was talking to one of OJJ`s drivers today he said it was 540 hp.
i dont know where Dave is. does anybody know?

Great pic’s Merfyn,thanks to you and the other members who posted om this thread.Didn’t take many pics of lorries on holiday,did get a dozen or so.Tracy had a break from watching for lorries and enjoyed the scenery instead.
